La Pecosa Preciosa

Glitz and Glam

Hi Lovies,

The other day I showed you a simple by edgy look for NYE, today I am going all out glitz and glam! Of course there is sequins involved, because honestly, there's never enough sequins. Especially for New Year's Eve, you must have some kind of sequins to your look and this Ruffle Sequin Dress from Simply Be was everything! It is giving me all types of sparkle, shine and glam that I crave for bringing in the New Year and that fact that it was in black made it so elegant looking. The sexy top mesh paneling, fun flattering ruffle and on trend two tone sequins made this a show stopping piece. I wanted to show some leg (as usual! lol!) for this look but if this is too short for your comfort, slap on a pair of black tights and you're good to go!

2016 Plus Size Remixes

Hi Lovies!

When I started the Plus Size Remix feature on the blog back in July of 2015, I had no idea what a hit it would be. You guys showed so much love for my inspirational recreations and loved the idea that Plus Size Women can dress just like the straight size women. I had so much fun putting these looks together and also sharing with you some of my fav bloggers and why I chose them to recreate. As with life, things can be unpredictable and crazy so I didn't get to do a PSR each month like I wanted but I promise for 2017 to bring it! Here are all my Plus Size Remixes for 2016, enjoy!

Sequins and Leather

Hi Lovies,

New Year's Eve is only 3 days away, and I have gone into sparkle, shine, glitter, and shimmer overload. This is the time of year where you can get away with all that stuff. Now not everyone is the super dressed up type for NYE, so today I am bringing you a look that is simple but still has that added sparkle that a NYE look should have. To me, sequins is definitely a must and this Sequined Illusion Tunic from Roaman's gives me all of that. I love the variations of colors in the sequins from bronze to gold and champagne. The mesh neckline and sleeves give it a sexy edge while the tunic silhouette flatters the figure. You will definitely be making a statement entering the new year with this sparkly number.

End of Season Sales

Hi Lovies,

Now that Christmas is officially over, here come the infamous end of season sales. People wait patiently for these sales so that they can rack up on all the great deals as well as stock up for next year. Of course I am one of those people, waking up early to check my emails to see what kind of deals my favorite brands are offering. So I decided to compile a list of my favorites stores and share their deals with you, Happy Shopping!

Christmas Glam

Hi Lovies,

For some Christmas Day is a super special day, they pull out all the stops and get dressed to the nines. While I can't say that is the type of Christmas I have, I do love the idea of doing a mega glam holiday look. As we know the color red is one of the favorite colors to wear during the holidays. It's bright, vibrant and it makes a statement. Even for me, who isn't the biggest fan of red, likes to wear it a few times during this time of the year. So a red dress was definitely in order for a glam look and this Kimono Knot Front Dress from Simply Be was a show stopper. The minute I put this dress on, I felt like the belle of the ball. This sensual dress just falls on the body like a dream, the slinky fabric is soft and comfy. The front slit along with the flattering knot detail and kimono style neckline make this such an elegant dress. Is it safe to say that you'll be turning heads all night in this dress? I think so!

Metallic and Feathers

Hi Lovies

Christmas is 4 days away and it's time to start thinking about what you're going to wear. Now there are all types of people. Some like to go super glam, some casual chic, and some simple and easy. Depending where and what you're going to be doing that day, gauges what type of holiday outfit you want to wear. Today's look is an easy comfortable glam look that is great for Christmas or NYE. This Feather Fringe Top from Roaman's is simple with such a chic edge with the feather trim. It can definitely pump up the most causal of looks and the classic black color flatters every figure.

Treat Yourself

Hi Lovies,

When it comes to the holidays, I enjoy running around and getting gifts for my friends and loved ones. There's no better feeling than bringing a smile to someone's face with a thoughtful gift, no matter how big or small. But the gift of giving doesn't stop there, every year I make it a point to get myself something special as well. There's definitely nothing wrong with treating yourself, if you have the means, I highly recommend doing it. It's a nice way to reward yourself for all the great things you've done throughout the year. This year I decided to do something different and gift myself a hair makeover. With Christmas and New Years days away, I figure why not get this hair right for the holidays.

How to Stay Winter Cute

Hi Lovies,

I don't know about you but I am not of fan of Winter at all. Despite being born in the Fall, I crave the spring and summer temps. Not to mention how much easier it is to dress myself for work or for leisure and still look stylish. But since I am born and raised in NYC, I know a thing or two about how to remain cute even during these brutally cold months. Here are a few tips on how to stay cute during the winter.

Staying Fresh and Feeling Confident During the Holidays

This post is in partnership with Suits, Heels & Curves, Simply Stylist  and Dove. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Hi Lovies,

If you are anything like me then you probably already have a list of holiday events, gathering and family functions to attend.  This time of the year can bring a lot of anxiety and stress especially when it comes to seeing that favorite aunt who feels your weight needs to be the center of conversation. Well this season my bestie, Darlene of Suits, Heels and Curves and I have decided to partner up with Simply Stylist and Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirant to share with you our tips to feeling cool and confident over the holiday season.

Weekend Wear: Faux Layering

Hi Lovies,

When it comes to my weekends, I just like to wear stuff that is comfortable and easy. During the colder months that can be tough because we have to to stay warm. So we tend to do the layering thing, which in turn isn't all that comfy. Don't get me wrong, I love the look of layering, especially with different prints and fabrics. But I am not a fan of the bulk that layering can sometimes bring, so sometimes faking it is the way to go. The Avenue is known for their "2fer" tops, which I am a huge fan of. It gives you the stylish look of laying with out all the extra clothing. This Square Dot 2fer Sweater was at the top of my list, not only because of the wine color that I love but  the preppy look that I am so fond of. The sweater is definitely warm enough for the winter while the print adds a charming feel to it. I'll be scouting out some more of these tops for quick and easy looks this season.

Getting the Family Ready for the Holidays

Hi lovies,

With the holidays less than 3 weeks away, it's time to start looking for what to wear. Now for me the holidays are pretty low key with the occasional Christmas party here and there. Nonetheless, I always like to be prepared with a few outfits just in case. Even more so when you have a family, it's hard to try and get everyone. As much as I shop from Amazon, I never really shopped their fashion category. So I decided to browse through their fashions and found quite a few things that I loved, not only for me but for the entire family as well. Gotta love a site where you do do one stop shopping at and with being a prime member, I take total advantage of that. To make your life easier, check out my holiday fashions find for the whole family.

Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them

Hi Lovies,

As you know I am a huge Harry Potter fan, so I was overjoyed when the movie Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them came out. Since the last book that came out was back in 2007 and last movie was 2011, so it was great that they made this one for the fans. Now I will confess, I have yet to see the movie (insert gasp here) only because I haven't found someone to go with that loves HP as me. Now that doesn't mean that I don't know the premise of the movie and the characters. I've read up on back when the trailer came on and I instantly fell in love with movie. The movie is based off  of one of the text books that the students used in Hogwarts and is suppose to be a prequel. From the previews alone I instantly fell in love with the 1920's style clothing that the cast wore in the movie. So you could imagine my joy when Torrid dropped a Fantastic Beast collection. It showcases pieces from the two characters Porpetina and Queenie Goldstein. I was immediately drawn to Queenie's pieces, they were elegant and chic looking, which totally represents my style.

Fine Wine

Hi Lovies,

This season jewel tones have been all the rave and I have just been embracing it with open arms. Emerald greens, aubergines, dark midnight blues can be found all over the fashion scene. The fan favorite for the fall/winter seems to be the trendy Merlot jewel tone. Season after season it continues to reappear and with good reason. The rich wine color is just so elegant looking in pretty much everything as well as timeless. So you know I lost my mind when I was able to find this color in a dress and it was faux suede?!? Roaman's via Fullbeauty.com continues to get it right, this Faux Suede V-neck Dress is pure perfection. The hi-low trapeze silhouette made for a comfortable and effortless fit, while the v-neck gave it some structure. Oh let's not forget that this dress also has pockets, SCORE! The fabric is a nice weight, perfect for the cold days but totally looks and feels like real suede. The color is what really brings out the beauty in this dress, which totally made me look chic and sleek. I need this dress in everyone color!

Plus Size Remix: Atlantic-Pacific

Hi Lovies,

Happy Monday everyone, today I am back with another edition of Plus Size Remix. If this is your first time to the blog then PSR is a monthly feature where I take a look  that inspires me and remix it into a plus size version. Last month's inspiration came from gorgeous Folake of Style Pantry (see here) Today's inspiration came from the stylish and chic Blair of the blog Atlantic-Pacific. I have been a huge fan of her blog for a long time and have fallen in love with style. She's elegant, poised, and all around just classy. Every photo that she takes is a feast for the eyes, just aesthetically pleasing. What I love about her style is how polished it is, everything she wears is just effortless and perfect. Not to mention how versatile its is, she can go from an beautiful fancy ball gown to a turtleneck and jeans and still look amazing. Which brings me to this look, her version of this casual weekend look caught my eye immediately. It was such a cool but put together look, and totally perfect for the current temps here in NYC, I couldn't wait to recreate it.

Curly Hair Must Haves

Hi Lovies,

Today's post is all about the curls and my must haves that every curly girl needs in their arsenal. Now remember, not everyone's hair is the same and I am speaking from my own experiences with my hair. I have fine hair with a 3B/3C curl type and these must haves are what I use on a day to day basis. Having curly hair is a job in itself, so to some these must haves might seem a little excessive, but its what I do to achieve my beautiful curls. So if you're a curly girl and need some info on what you should have, then check out this round up.

Dressing Up Denim

Hi Lovies,

I have said this time and time again that I am the ultimate girly girl, and I truly love that about me. I also love that people can associate my signature style with me, like "oh that's a Sandra dress." While I will always be true to my personal style, I've found myself enjoying looks that I would normally not wear. Obviously jeans is one of those things, I continue to have a love hate relationship with them. As much as I enjoy a good skirt or dress, they are tough to wear during the colder months here in NYC. Having to wear tights isn't my favorite thing to do so that's where jeans come into play. Jeans might not be my go to item but I do love the convenience of them. More so when a brand can make a pair that stand out from the rest and make a statement, like these Foil Print Jeans from Roaman's. These are such a different and beautiful pair of denim, the gorgeous foiled leaf print creates a feast for the eyes. While the comfortable stretch fabric and skinny fit make these so easy to wear. Another great thing about jeans is how effortlessly they can be dressed up or down, and with this pair it's definitely achievable.

Celestial

Happy Monday!

I know I was a bit MIA last week but I was preparing for the holiday weekend and taking a much needed break from the internet. But I am back, feeling refreshed from my 4 day weekend and ready to bring my A game to the blog. Since the weather has been so crazy these last few days, it's been hard to dress appropriately. I have taken advantage of the milder days to wear some pieces from the Melissa McCarthy Seven 7 line. You guys already know how much I love her stuff, I posted about her collection here and here. The clothing is such great quality and just emits Melissa's style throughout the collection. I instantly fell in love with this Celestial Skirt, the swingy silhouette and beautiful astronomy print made this so unique. I especially loved that it had a scorpion in the print since that is my sign and pockets as well. The mix of light colors in the print went so well together, while the pull on design made for an effortless and comfy fit. It's flirtatious and makes you want to celebrate all the reason why it's fun to be girl.

Thanksgiving Day Looks to Inspire

Hi Lovies,

Thanksgiving is one of those holidays that can be difficult to dress for, I know I struggle with it. Since the day is spent mostly inside with family and friends eating, sometimes we feel no urgency to get dressed up. While at the moment I have no idea what I am going to wear for Turkey Day, I know I still want to wear something cute. I use any opportunity to dress up so Turkey Day is no different. Since I know this day can be a pain to dress for, I figured why not give you guys some inspiration. I put together a round up of looks to get you motivated for Thanksgiving. From something casual and comfy, to dressy and everything in between, there's something here for just about everyone. Hopefully one of these looks inspires you!

Handkerchief Skirt

Hi Lovies,

I've mentioned before that in the past I was not the biggest fan of plaid. But within the last 2 years or so, I have grown to enjoy it, especially for this time of the year. There's just something about it that represents the winter. I'm sure most people think of lumberjacks whenever plaid is concern but it has definitely come a long way in the fashion world. It can be found just about everywhere in the most fashionable styles and colors combos. Take this amazing plaid Fringe Hem Handkerchief Skirt by Melissa McCarthy Seven7 line for instance. After wearing their Mauve Poncho top in one of my previous posts, I knew I had to have more from her line. The rainbow tartan plaid pair with the raw edges of the handkerchief hem makes this skirt so unique and different. The fabric drapes so well flattering the figure as well as keeping me warm. Easily paired with some strappy heels, peep toe booties or tall riding boots like I'm wearing, for plenty of chic worthy looks. This skirt is such a conversation piece and will definitely catch the eyes of many.

Skirt Crazy

Hi Lovies,

For some, the cold weather means that their legs go into hibernation. Skirts and dresses get stored away and jeans/pants become your daily uniform. For me that isn't the case, as a true girly girl I actually tend to wear more skirts in the winter months. I mean I'm a skirt fanatic from the get go so it's easy for me to transition. Meaning while shopping for fall/winter clothes, skirts are on the top of the list. My favorite brand to shop for skirts is hands down Eloquii, for obvious reasons. They continue to push the plus size fashion envelope with every amazing piece. They make it so that basically there is something on the site for everyone. I can't even count how many things I own from them, let alone just in skirts. This Pleated Midi Skirt was definitely one that I had to have. The mash up of geometric patterns and combo of vibrant colors went so well together. As well as the pleats which added some delicacy to the skirt. I love that it's super fun and flirty, and makes a total statement. Not to mention the possibilities of looks that I can create, the ideas are flowing!

Holiday Gift Ideas For The Techy Fashionista

Hi Lovies!

Now that November is here, it seems everything has instantly turned into holiday overload. Since I am the type to always shop last minute for gifts, this year I am planning ahead. Over the next couple of weeks I will be posting gifts ideas for you guys to help you on your shopping journey.  I find these to be super helpful when looking for gifts for certain people. Today's list is for the techy fashionista in your life, the one who loves taking selfies, making sure her makeup is on point and capturing her perfect #ootd. I am definitely one of these girls and would love any of these cool gadgets for a holiday gift.

The Holiday Shop with Fullbeauty

Hi lovies,

Last month me and my Instagram Wives, Darlene and Jami had the pleasure of shooting a holiday video with one of our favorite brands Fullbeauty. We all got to get dressed up and share a few things about holiday fashion and what the IG Wives are all about. This was definitely something we have never done before and was super excited to be a part of it. I mean who doesn't love the chance to get full on glam, am I right? I love the holidays and the fashion that comes with it, whether you like to go all out, stay casual or go the traditional route, Fullbeauty has you covered. Which is why I loved the idea that we each were assigned a "holiday shop" to represent. What a great way to showcase our individual styles and share what we love to wear for the holidays.

The Fur Vest

Hi Lovies,

When it comes to fashion, I can have a love/hate relationship with certain trends, or clothing items. The Fur vest is definitely one of those pieces that I struggle with. I love the idea of them and how they can take any simple look to the next level. I love how some women can pull them off so effortlessly and just look fierce in them. Most of the ones that I find can just tend to add bulk to my look or make me feel like a stuffed animal. Despite all of that, I wasn't going to give up the hunt for the perfect fur vest. Leave it to Roaman's to have one that actually worked out for me. What I loved about this faux fur vest was that is was long which elongates the body is super flattering. The black color is super chic and goes with just anything. The fact that it has elastic in the waist is also great, as some fur vest have no structure, in turn making you look bigger. This one has a little cinch giving the appearance of some shape. You can rock it open as I did here or use the hook and eye closures to wear it closed. Super cozy and warm, with pockets to keep your hands warm during these colder days in NYC. It's a great layering piece to have in your wardrobe for the season.

Weekend Wear: Cozy Sweater

Hi Lovies!

After a long week of work, there's nothing better than enjoying my weekends. The weekends are usually spent with my Beau and of course with my Instagram Wives taking blog phots and doing brunch. Last year I had the pleasure of moving into my fellow IG wife's Darlene house, I am her downstairs tenant. One of the best things about moving into her house besides being closer to my blogger boos, was the fact that she had a dog. My baby Skittles unfortunately passed away almost 2 years ago and little Anakin has definitely filled that void of having a beloved pet. He's one of the sweetest, cutest and funniest dogs I ever met and I love him. It's amazing what the love of a dog can do and make you feel, seeing his little face just makes me smile every time. Some weekends I just want to throw on something cozy and just chill with him. It's always fun and he just loves being outside, running around, enjoying the day and barking at squirrels. He's just a hoot!

Brand Spotlight: Fullbeauty

Hi Lovies,

One of my favorite things about being a blogger is you get to work with so many brands as well as get to know the people behind the company. They are no longer just a retailer that you enjoy shopping from, they are now much more. Besides building a blogger relationship with them, you get to become more acquainted with the team on a personal level. You find out why they enjoy your work and support what you do for them as a brand which to me is so rewarding. This only makes working with the brand that much more rewarding and enjoyable. One of those brands is Fullbeauty, as you know I post about them very often. Being a part of their Own Your Curves Ambassador Program for the past year and getting to know the brand and team has been such a great experience. Not only have I got to know the brand and what they stand for but I'm able to bring this information to my readers. A plus size market place that has been around for 10 years as the fit experts of plus-size clothing, they offer the best fashion, sizes 12 to 44, empowering you to look and feel beautiful and to #OwnYourCurves.

These Boots Are Made For Walking

Happy Monday!

Boot season is definitely in full effect and I'm loving what I'm seeing as of late. Normally I aim to get the basics colors, like black and brown in my boots since they go with so much. But recently I have been drawn to the not so basic colors for my footwear. I love to amp up a simple outfit with a punch of color, whether it be with a bag, my outerwear, or in this case a pair of boots. The Sofie Colorblock Suede Tall Boot are such a statement boot, the beautiful Merlot color that is super on trend and is perfect for the fall. The colorblock design and brown piping make it so chic, while still remaining comfortable with the stack heel. What I love most about these boots is that they are both wide width and wide calf. I know the struggle of trying to find a fashionable tall boots that fit over my ample calves. So it's great to know I can always go to the Avenue and find stylish boots that actually fit me. If you have a hard time finding boots that fit, head over to the Avenue and check out their selection.

Gwynnie Bee One Style, Three Ways: The Sheath Dress

Hi Lovies,

I love taking on challenges, especially style ones because they are fun and get my creative juices going. So when Gwynnie Bee asked me to be part of their "One Style, Three Ways" series, I jumped at the chance. I participated in one last year and it was all about the bow blouse, this time it is all about the sheath dress. But not just any sheath dresses, these came from their new exclusive collection with the brand TOCCA. I know what you're saying, "isn't Tocca a beauty brand?" Well TOCCA has been in the fashion industry for over 20 years with a vision for creating beautiful clothing at affordable prices. Sophisticated and modern, TOCCA is known for its beautifully wearable pieces that exude a feminine, sexy edge and contemporary beauty products inspired by the Old World. They are extending their apparel collection into plus with an exclusive 9-piece collection with GB ranging in sizes 14-24W/1X-3X. I fell in love with this collection immediately, all the pieces were right up my alley and I couldn't wait to start adding some to my GB closet. If you saw one my previous post with this Adrianna Papell dress, then you know that GB is a clothing rental subscription service for women sizes 10-32. Sounds good so far? Then try them out for a month for free!

Fun with Fringe

Hi Lovies,

The fringe trend has totally grown on me like a fungus, it's literally everywhere on the fashion scene. You don't have to think of fringe anymore as something tacky from the 70's. What I am loving most about it is how I can incorporate it into my everyday style. Whether it be on the weekends when I want to be super comfortable but still want to add some flare to my look. Even for during the week fringe can be fun for work while still remaining dress code approved. This fringe skirt is perfect for that, it's not too over the top and the asymmetrical design makes it a unique piece. Along with the faux suede and the classic black color, this skirt was super chic and stylish.

Must Have Jackets For Fall

Hi Lovies,

For not being the biggest fan of the colder temps, I have quite a collection of outerwear. This is one of the few things I enjoy about the fall/winter, that I can delve into my closet and start rocking my favorite jackets. Whether it be using it for layering purposes, tying it around your waist for a funky look or just want an accent piece to drape over your shoulders. There's just something about a piece of outerwear that can take a look to the next level. Here are my top five favorite must have jackets for the fall.

Plus Size Remix: Style Pantry

Hi Lovies!

Well I am FINALLY back with a Plus Size Remix! I have been a bad blogger and the last time I did one of these was back March. That just won't do! So if this is your first time seeing one of my PSR, it's a monthly feature where I take a look  that inspires me and remix it into a plus size version. It's my way of showing my plus size ladies that we can accomplish the same looks even if it's something not in our size. If you missed my previous ones, check out my Pinterest page and make sure to follow the board so you will be notified when I post something new. Today's inspiration comes from one of my favorite straight size blogger Folake of Style Pantry. This woman is so amazing, she's a working mother of 3 and still has time to run a blog and look fabulous everyday. Can we say #GOALS? I am fascinated by her style, she's effortlessly chic at all times. She can pull off an elegant and polished look, then turn around and give you a types of funky, edgy and ultra chic. And can we talk about that hair, just gorgeous! I had been dying to recreate one of her looks for the longest and this one called my attention. I look forward to all her personal style post and you should definitely be following her.

Bringing Summer Into Fall

Hi Lovies!

When it comes to purchasing clothing these days, I am no longer an impulse buyer. I was known for clicking the "add to cart" button way to quick on a item just because I thought it was cute. Never really thinking about how functional the item was or how much use I'd get out of it. Hence my overflowing closet of things that I've only worn once and never looked at again. Now before I click the "add to cart" button I take the time to think about how this article of clothing is going to benefit me and my closet. So even pieces from previous season have to serve a purpose in my closet in some way. One of my favorite things to do is transition summer pieces into fall. You know I love to get a bang for my buck, so when I first got this denim dress from Eloquii I knew that it could easily be worn in the fall/winter months. When I first wore this dress in the summer (see here), I already had visions in my head how I was going to style it for the cooler months. This looks was definitely one that I wanted to style once the weather permitted.

Colorful in Fall

Hi Lovies,

No matter what the season is, I always manage to keep a little bold color in my wardrobe. It helps when the weather gets really bad here in NYC and can brighten up your day. No don't get me wrong, I love my darker colors and earth tones for Fall/Winter but there's just something about a punch of color and a bold print that gets my motor running. Honestly, there are no rules to fashion and you can wear whatever makes you feel happy. This Adrianna Papell dress via Gwynnie Bee definitely falls into that category. The rich floral print is so fun and feminine, definitely an eye catcher. The vibrant colors are just beautiful and gives a romantic flare to the dress.

Olive

Hi Lovies,

The color Olive has hit the fashion scene by storm and has become this seasons trendiest color. It's popping up in almost everything these days and it seems people are totally here for it. It definitely compliments the season and totally screams fall. Considered a neutral color in my book, I knew that obtaining something in this color was a must. Being me, what better way to achieve this by getting a midi skirt in Olive from Fashion to Figure. I will admit this is a color that isn't normally in my wardrobe but since seeing it pop up in most of my favorite brands, it has grown on me. Not to mention my obsession with anything scuba material hasn't faltered. Besides the great color, this midi skirt is super flattering with the flared silhouette while still having some structure. It's effortlessly chic and elegant as well as midi skirt should be and is for sure going to be a repeat offender.

Falling for Fall

Hi Lovies,

As much as I am going to miss the summer, I have to say that I've been loving the fall fashions I've been seeing thus far. For someone who loves summer sure has a lot of jackets and coats, not to mention sweaters. This weekend the weather was lousy and definitely called for a cozy sweater and some jeans. Of course I had to put my own personal spin on this look, and this Fringe Sweater from Roaman's did the trick. It incorporated fringe and crotchet all in one, such a unique sweater with such character. It's warm enough for the cooler days but the short sleeve provides relief if you tend to get hot. It can be worn with a pencil skirt, slacks for work or with a fun pair of jeans like I did here. It's just an all around great layering piece for the Fall.

Checkered

Hi Lovies,

I love it when some of my favorite trends carry over from season to season. When purchasing clothes, I try to think about how versatile the item is and how much use am I going to get out of it. Of course I will have my occasional impulse buy but I am more cautious about my purchases. One of the trends that has definitely carried over to the fall is the Off The Shoulder. If you've been following my post from the spring/summer you know that I went a little crazy with this trend. Whether it be a top or a dress, I just had to have it. Now that fall is here, I was looking for something that was a little more NYC weather friendly and thank goodness Fullbeauty came through! This Off The Shoulder Tunic  for their Denim 24/7 line was just perfect for the season. The longer tie sleeve gave more coverage to the arm and the window pane print gave this such a classic touch. The tunic design and deep shirttail hem is so figure flattering, I love that you can wear this out or easily tuck it in a pair of pants or skirt. It's such a cute top, easy to wear and effortlessly chic.

Collegiate

Hi Lovies,

Fall is officially here and now that the weather is getting cooler, I can delve into my outerwear. One of my favorite things to wear are blazers. Next to moto jackets, blazers are another thing that I have an abundance in. I'm a huge fan of the preppy, private school look, and blazers are my favorite thing to achieve this with. I just love the effect that a blazer brings to an outfit, it can take something that is fancy and diffuse it to a more structured appearance. Or even do the opposite and add some edge to a casual t-shirt and jeans look. I'm all about colors and prints when it comes to my blazers, I try and stray from the traditional black. Color is a fun way to add some pizzazz to almost any outfit, so when Eloquii came out with their Quinn Blazer I knew I had to have it. There was so many components about this blazer that I loved, from the striped lining to the gold military buttons as well as the fun patch front pockets. Not to mention the beautiful green color that is such an eye catcher. This is definitely a great layering piece and a staple to have in your wardrobe.

Faux Leather and Suede

Hi Lovies!

This week is the week of leather, and I'm keeping this train rolling. If you missed my post from Monday (see here) I wore an awesome leather moto with chiffon. Today I am bringing you not only faux leather but faux suede as well. These are two fabrics that remain on trend season after season, you literally can't go wrong with either of them.  As you know, I finally tried out a pair of culottes and actually liked them. So why not go a step further and get another pair but in leather? This pair from Roaman's via Fullbeauty were definitely a hit. Such an edgy and sleek pair giving you that super chic look. What I love about these is how versatile they are, they are great right now for the fall temps that are approaching. The wide leg and elastic band make these extremely comfortable and easy to wear. I recommend everyone adding a pair to their wardrobe.

Leather and Chiffon

Hi Lovies,

It's safe to say that I am a moto jacket junkie. As crazy as that sounds my goal is to have one in every color of the rainbow. At the moment, I have quite a few in different styles, fabrics and colors but the one you can never have enough of is black. I know you must be thinking, "why have multiple of the same color?" Well a black moto is definitely a staple color to have in your wardrobe. It instantly add that perfect amount of edge to any look. But as generic as the color may be, not all are the same. It's the detail on the jacket that differentiates it from the next. When I saw this Moto with Chiffon from the Ashley Nell Tipton collection with JC Penney, I couldn't add it to my cart fast enough. This jacket was definitely in a class by itself with the flowing chiffon lower half and cropped length style. Besides the chiffon that was so unique for a moto jacket, the beautiful rose gold hardware is another. I've never come across a jacket with such well thought out detailing. This isn't an everyday jacket but it's great to have that special one that you can pull out of your arsenal and be a showstopper.
