I have finally come to terms with myself and stopped sailing on the river of denial....I am a SHOPAHOLIC! I shop at a lot of different stores, always on the hunt for that perfect dress but one of my favorite places to shop for clothes is ASOS.com. I was put on to this website about 3 years ago by one of my best friends and fashion guru Leslie (check out her blog La Mujer Decente). They have the most amazing clothing, shoes, accessories, etc. But what I like most about ASOS.com is that they carry a plus size line called ASOS Curve, which carries sizes 16-26.
It's a European website (Great Britain) but are very U.S. friendly. You can choose your country and it will convert the site to US dollars and sizes, so no need to do the math in your head (or calculator like I would do lol). They also offer free international shipping both ways! Shipping is super quick as well. They say 6 days but I always receive my packages within 5 days. But if you're an anxious Annie and can't wait the 6 days to get your stuff, you can pay an extra $12 for 2 day shipping.
At first I was a bit reluctant to buy something from them because I didn't know how the clothes would fit, being that there isn't any ASOS stores to physically try on the clothes. But I took a chance and was very please with what I got. Everything I've bought is pretty true to size, well made, all great materials used and holds up well when washed. While some of their merchandise can tend to be on the pricey side (well, for me anyway), I tend to purchase most of my things from their fantastic sale section or try and utilize any discount promo codes that they email me from time to time. Definitely sign up for their newsletter so you can receive emails on special offers. They are currently offering an extra 10% off on any sale items, just enter the code EXTRA10 when checking out.
Within the last 4 months I've gone a little ASOS crazy and have purchased quite a few dresses and accessories from them for this summer season. But I'm proud to say everything I bought was on sale! Here's some of the things I've purchased.
