The Fur Vest

The Fur Vest

Hi Lovies,

When it comes to fashion, I can have a love/hate relationship with certain trends, or clothing items. The Fur vest is definitely one of those pieces that I struggle with. I love the idea of them and how they can take any simple look to the next level. I love how some women can pull them off so effortlessly and just look fierce in them. Most of the ones that I find can just tend to add bulk to my look or make me feel like a stuffed animal. Despite all of that, I wasn't going to give up the hunt for the perfect fur vest. Leave it to Roaman's to have one that actually worked out for me. What I loved about this faux fur vest was that is was long which elongates the body is super flattering. The black color is super chic and goes with just anything. The fact that it has elastic in the waist is also great, as some fur vest have no structure, in turn making you look bigger. This one has a little cinch giving the appearance of some shape. You can rock it open as I did here or use the hook and eye closures to wear it closed. Super cozy and warm, with pockets to keep your hands warm during these colder days in NYC. It's a great layering piece to have in your wardrobe for the season.

I love having things in my wardrobe that can add color to a simple black outfit. Being from NYC we tend to gravitate to black, is easy simple and classic. But I need color in my and this Drape Tunic was the perfect pairing for this vest. The berry colored stripes are such a bold addition to the look. The mix of horizontal and vertical stripes are definitely a feast for the eyes. Even with the relax fit of the tunic, it still gave the look added structure.

With such a versatile piece, this top looks good with jeans or if you want a more sleek, edgy feel, faux leather pants are the way to go. They are such a chic alternative to jeans that are timeless look, great for almost every season and look awesome on almost anyone.

Do you like fur vest? How are you wearing yours?
