As I mentioned in my previous post, the Instagram Wives, me, Darlene and Jami were in sunny LA recently. We were there to attended the annual Blogher conference in the JW Marriott Hotel. We definitely had a ton of fun and did a bunch of things, which I will be posting about in the upcoming weeks. Since this was my first time in LA, I was going to take every opportunity to hit up some of the iconic spots. On our last day in LA, we decided to take our blog photos with an amazing photographer named Lizza of Fabulizza. The first location on our list was the infamous Paul Smith Pink Wall. In the blogger world this wall is pretty popular for taking awesome blog photos. To our disappointment, when we arrived, there was a list of rules you had to abide by in order to actual take pics there. The worst one was you could only use a cellphone to take pics, which sucked! But we made the best of it and Lizza was able to get some great shots of us with my Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
For this shoot at the Pink Wall, we decided to all wear something from Eloquii since it's one of our favorites brands. You guys know my obsession with denim dresses, so it was no shock that I chose this Denim Fit and Flare one. I fell in love with this dress, super versatile and absolutely feminine. My favorite part was the adjustable criss-cross straps in the back which amped up this dress to the next level.
While I was in LA I got this adorable clutch from The Plus Bus Pop-up shop from the vendor Proud Mary Fashions. It was the perfect pop of color for this denim dress along with my fab retro cat eye sunglasses which gave this look such sass.
It's still hard to believe that we were just in LA a few weeks ago. But the Instagram Wives came, saw and conquered the Pink Wall with total style and grace.
