Giving in to Jeans

If you've been reading my posts, you'll know I am not a fan of Fall or Winter. I love summer days, where I can just throw on a dress, a pair of sandals and call it a day. I'm a dress girl, I have no problem wearing one everyday of the year. But unfortunately Old Man Winter likes to throw a monkey wrench on that situation. So last Sunday I gave in and wore a pair of jeans.

 

   

This gave me the opportunity to wear my Mixed Feather Top from Forever 21. I already have this top in the taupe color that I purchased last fall (featured here). So when I saw they came out with it in a blue color, I had to get it. It's a great top and I get tons of compliments whenever I wear it. I adore the feather print and colors as well as the semi-sheer material. The pintucked details on the front and the 3/4 button sleeves make it so delicate looking.

Even though it was a beautiful sunny day out Sunday, it was still pretty brisk. So I threw on my Shawl Lapel Blazer and Distressed Skinny Jeans both from Forever 21. I added my Chain Gold Buckle Belt from ASOS Curve, a Gold Clutch (thrifted) and Gold Peep Toe Wedges from Sam Edelman (ebay). I accented the outfit with my Gold bangle, Gold Leaf pendant (gifts from Africa) and Palace Teardrop Earrings from Forever 21.

 

I'm sure I will be forced to wear more jeans because Old Man Winter is an evil little man. But this is what I have to say to him....Old man Winter, I curse you......THINNER!!!! LOL!
