If you read my first blog post La Pecosa Preciosa
(The Precious Freckle Face), you'd know I was born and raised in
Spanish Harlem, NY. Where I live is actually the borderline between
Spanish Harlem and Harlem. I love living here, love the people, the
culture and the history of both Spanish Harlem and Harlem. My niece
suggested I take a few pics by a spot she came upon one day looking for
her friend.
My eldest niece April (I have 3 nieces) who is a photographer (check out her website here) was kind enough to lend me her Nikon D70 digital camera until whenever. I was so excited, it was like Christmas came early! Now I can take better quality pictures for my blog. She was also kind enough to take a few pics of me today outside around my neighborhood.

I
am wearing a Mesh Yoke Shirt Dress from Forever 21 which is so
comfortable. What I love most about this dress is that the material
doesn't wrinkle! I can just grab it and put it on without a worry of
having to pull out my iron. I added my Denim Jacket from Old Navy,
Turtle Belt from
ASOS Curve, and Gladiator Sandals from Delias. I accented the outfit
with a Gold Clutch from Pay/Half, my Bangle Bracelet from Africa, a pair
of Vintage Gold and Pearl Earrings from Ebay, and Black and Gold
necklace from Beacon's Closet.
Until next time Lovies!
