Christmas Glam

Hi Lovies,

For some Christmas Day is a super special day, they pull out all the stops and get dressed to the nines. While I can't say that is the type of Christmas I have, I do love the idea of doing a mega glam holiday look. As we know the color red is one of the favorite colors to wear during the holidays. It's bright, vibrant and it makes a statement. Even for me, who isn't the biggest fan of red, likes to wear it a few times during this time of the year. So a red dress was definitely in order for a glam look and this Kimono Knot Front Dress from Simply Be was a show stopper. The minute I put this dress on, I felt like the belle of the ball. This sensual dress just falls on the body like a dream, the slinky fabric is soft and comfy. The front slit along with the flattering knot detail and kimono style neckline make this such an elegant dress. Is it safe to say that you'll be turning heads all night in this dress? I think so!

Since I love to be extra in everything I do, I wanted to amp the dress up with accessories. What better way to do that than to add some faux fur and jewels. I don't know about you but faux fur makes an outfit look rich. This fur collar added such a posh and ritzy appeal to the ensemble, I felt so 1930's glam. Since diamonds are a girls best friend, I added this Rhinestone Necklace and Silver Metallic Shoes to complete the look. Just call me the Sexy Mrs. Claus!
