Gwynnie Bee One Style, Three Ways: The Sheath Dress

Gwynnie Bee One Style, Three Ways: The Sheath Dress

Hi Lovies,

I love taking on challenges, especially style ones because they are fun and get my creative juices going. So when Gwynnie Bee asked me to be part of their "One Style, Three Ways" series, I jumped at the chance. I participated in one last year and it was all about the bow blouse, this time it is all about the sheath dress. But not just any sheath dresses, these came from their new exclusive collection with the brand TOCCA. I know what you're saying, "isn't Tocca a beauty brand?" Well TOCCA has been in the fashion industry for over 20 years with a vision for creating beautiful clothing at affordable prices. Sophisticated and modern, TOCCA is known for its beautifully wearable pieces that exude a feminine, sexy edge and contemporary beauty products inspired by the Old World. They are extending their apparel collection into plus with an exclusive 9-piece collection with GB ranging in sizes 14-24W/1X-3X. I fell in love with this collection immediately, all the pieces were right up my alley and I couldn't wait to start adding some to my GB closet. If you saw one my previous post with this Adrianna Papell dress, then you know that GB is a clothing rental subscription service for women sizes 10-32. Sounds good so far? Then try them out for a month for free!

For the challenge I chose from the collection the Olympic Blue Sheath dress. The color is what first attracted me the dress, I just loved how bold and vibrant it was. When I received it, I was even more please by how well made it was. The lightweight fabric was comfortable while still hugging your body in all the right places. Since this dress was very career wear driven, I wanted to show it’s versatility by giving the look some edge. Plus I wanted this to be fun, so I went with something that is out of the norm for me. The leather vest and black booties definitely gave it a rocker chic flare. Adding this fun bag for a pop of color totally completed the look. I could easily change up the dress by adding a crisp white button shirt underneath with some flats for a more preppy look. Or go more for a fall look with a turtleneck and knee boots. You can create endless looks with this sheath dress.

I hope you enjoyed this style challenge and a look into the new TOCCA collection. If you like what you saw, make sure to take advantage of the free month trial and give Gwynnie Bee a try!
