Hopefully you have been keeping up with me and The IG Wives LA Takeover posts, last week was about us slaying the Paul Smith Pink Wall (read here). In today's post, the IG wives decided to visit the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). We couldn't visit LA and not capture some shots at the infamous Chris Burden's "Urban Lights" display. I've always been in awe of this light installation and how beautiful it was in pictures, which didn't do it any justice. Actually seeing them in person and standing in all their glory is the only way to appreciate this form of art work. Who would've thought 202 vintage lamp post painted a uniform gray and arranged symmetrically could be so breath taking. I wish I could've came back in the evening to see all of them lit up, I'm sure it would have been a totally whole different experience.

As I mentioned in my previous post, we had the pleasure of having an awesome photographer, Lizza of Fablizza, take our photos and capture these awesome moments. Me and the girls all decided to wear something from Lane Bryant this day and it turned out that we all chose a cute and funky skirt. Which worked out great because the colorful prints went amazing against the gray of the lamps. This 6th & Lane Embellished Skirt was everything, from the beautiful colors, to the mesmerizing print and gold trim embellishments. This skirt was definitely an attention seeker and I just loved it. Pairing it with this Beaded Neckline Tank also from the 6th & Lane collection definitely took this look to the next level. The metal tones that accessorized the neckline complimented the skirt so well, along side these amazing lamp post, just gave off such an eccentric and chic feel.
Me, Darlene and Jami has such an awesome time taking pictures here, and as you can see we literally couldn't have ask for a more perfect day.
