When I think of a jumper, they immediately take me back to my childhood. My mom use to dress me in all different styles and colors of jumpers. Now that I am a grown woman, I am definitely not looking at them in the same way. Now they are more of a fashion statement or fun trend that I like to indulge in once in a while. This Denim Jumper from City Chic via Gwynnie Bee was right up my alley being how obsessed I am with denim dresses. The fact that this one was a jumper style made it ever more appealing. Not to mention the 90's feel it was giving me with the zipper detail in the front and patch pockets. I couldn't add this dress to my GB closet any faster. If you don't know what Gwynnie Bee is, check out my post here about them.
I've mentioned before that I am way more conscious about my clothing purchases. There is no more impulse buying, I actually think it over and ask myself how much use I am gonna get from this piece. So any clothing that I can transition from season to season is a plus. This dress can easily be worn by itself during the summer months and for the colder months, I can layer it with a top like I did here. Another thing I am obsessed with are Tie Neck Blouses, I have so many in different colors, prints and styles. This top from Eloquii had sold out when it first came to the site but I got very lucky and grabbed the only size 18 left during one of their sales. I love the whimsical print of this top and how well it went with the denim jumper. Adding a fun fur bag and some knee boots gave it more mature feel to the look.
