Having Fun for Valentine's Day

Hi Lovies,

When it comes to Valentine's Day, I am pretty low key. If you didn't know, me and Bae just made 10 yrs together, so we have a lot of V-days under our belts. One thing is for sure, we have always been easy breezy about this day. We feel that acknowledging ones love for each other shouldn't just be showcased on that day.  But honestly with everything that has been going on in the world, definitely take the time to tell the people that matter the most to you that you love them.

Me and Bae are huge foodies so on Valentine's Day we always like to go out to eat. Most of the time Bae is working on that day so we end up going out on the weekend. This works in our favor because restaurants won't be as hard to get a table for or over crowded. While I know most people associate getting dressed up more on the sexy side for this day, I tend to go the casual but cute route. Especially if we are making a day out it.

I do like to get into the spirit of things and try to incorporate red or pinks into my outfit for that day. So when I saw the Sequins Heart Stripe Tee from Catherines, I knew it be great for my Vday look. I loved the classic black and white stripes with the pops of red sequins hearts. It was super cute, feminine and extremely soft. To add some patter mixing to the look I added their Reversible Quilted Jacket. I loved the idea that I can get to jackets in one. I had the classic black side and then on the other the beautiful intricate pattern on the other. The contrast of the stripes and Ethan print pattern just worked together.

Instead of wearing regular jeans with this look, I decided to try out their Trouser Jeans. They have the same amazing technology that their classic jeans, super stretchy and comfy but with a tailored wide leg design. These jeans definitely elevated the look and add a sophisticated flare.

Looking forward to Valentine's Day this year because it falls on a Friday and Bae is off from work. So we ill actually be able to celebrate it on the actually day.
