If you follow me on Instagram (which you should be!), then you know that I've totally been in a fashion funk lately. I love fashion but not much out there right now has been inspiring me. I've browse my favorite brand sites and I literally have to force myself to find one or two things that I actually like. I don't know if it's because we are in that in between stage where you're starting to see some spring pieces but it's still very cold and you're not in that mind set yet. Whatever it is, I knew that something had to change because in my book fashion is suppose to always be fun.
Since I wasn't going to let this fashion funk get me down, I had to figure out a way to get out of it. Didn't take me very long to realize that I wasn't having fun with my clothing anymore. I wasn't choosing clothes that made me happy, I was choosing clothes more for the wow effect. When that happens, you end up with a closet full of clothes that you never wear because they were in the moment purchase. Unfortunately as a fashion blogger that happens very often. That's why when I am working with a brand, I will not accept anything or choose anything that I know I will only wear once. Everything has to have a purpose in my closet otherwise it doesn't belong there.

I can always count on Catherines for that because not only do I feel good in their clothing, I look good too. Their clothes definitely fit into my lifestyle and I know that I will be able to interchange the pieces with what I currently have in my closet. This look has to be one of my favorites as of late, it has everything I look for in an ensemble, a chic jacket, fun top and comfortable pants! Their Ponte Jacket with Vegan Leather Trim literally blew my mind when I received it. Their Black Label collection never disappoints and this jacket was no different. It was stunning, so chic and polished looking to the point that it looked like real leather. The longer length gave it such a sophisticated flair and the gorgeous teal color was stunning. This jacket definitely put a smile on my face.

The Floral Dot Pleated Georgette Tunic was such a favorite of mine. The fun print was so cute along with the elegant sparkling neckline. Loved how flowy and comfy it was as well, found myself spinning a couple of times in it! Pair with their classic Ponte Knit Leggings, I was living my best comfortable and chic life.
