Enjoying the Holidays

Hi Lovies,

Now that Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping are over, I can start to enjoy the holidays. On the weekends especially are my favorite days to kinda disconnect and do something for myself. I definitely try and head into the city to check out my favorite holiday sites, like the Rockefeller Christmas Tree, Macy's Christmas Windows and Ice Skating at Bryant Park Christmas Village. As a native New Yorker, sometimes you take advantage of all the amazing things to do for the holidays. But I'm super into the holiday spirit this year and want to take a day to enjoy myself. Of course Catherines is always there to help me with that.

Jacket/Sweater/Jeans/Boots

You guys already know that comfort is the name of the game when it comes to my wardrobe lately. Especially if I'm going to be running around the city visiting all my fave holiday sites. You also want to stay warm so layering is important as well. I love a moto jacket, its one of my weaknesses when it come to outerwear, so you know I had to grab their Shaw Heights Vegan Leather Jacket. This jacket looks and feels like real leather! I love the quilted detail on the shoulders and the longer length which provides more coverage on the body. The knit panels on the side and the sleeves make it easier to wear, maneuver in and provide extra comfort. It's a staple you all should have in your closet.

I am literally living in cozy sweaters this season, I can't even count how many I've gotten so far. They are just such an easy grab and go piece that keeps you warm and you look pulled together. This Vails Mills Pullover Sweater was definitely one of my faves at the moment. I love how uber soft and fuzzy it is, the deep jade color is stunning and it layered perfectly with the Moto jacket.

Jeans are also a staple right now in my wardrobe and when I saw that Catherines came out with a High Rise Jegging, I had to have them. I'm already a huge fan of their regular jegging but the fact that these were high rise just made them that much better. This fit definitely streamlines your silhouette and gives me that extra comfort in the tummy area which I love. You're still going to get that great stretch and recovery that all their jeans have, while looking stylish. 

Of course I had to finish off the look with a pair of Catherine's Boots. The Good Soles collections is one of the most comfortable foot wear I own. Their Wedge Riding Boot has been my go to boot since I got them. I love how sleek they are with the mixture of the faux leather and suede. The buckle details on the side along with the wedge heel give it such a feminine feel. I love that these are both wide width and wide calf to give me extra comfort and room. I was able to walk in these all day and remain comfortable.
