Before I jumped into the world of Plus Size Fashion blogging, I was an avid reader of PS blogs. I would spend hours just reading through them and enjoying how these women, who looked like me, could be so confident with their style. I had my fave bloggers of course that I loved and actually inspired me to start my own blog. Most of these bloggers paved the way in the plus size community and are a constant inspiration to so many women out there. One of my all time favorites is Tanesha  Awasthi from Girl with Curves. Her style is just timeless, classy and sophisticated which I'm all about. She makes everything she wears just look effortlessly beautiful and poised. Till this day I still read through her blog and continue to use her amazing style to inspire my own. So you can imagine my excitement when she announced that she was coming out with her own GWC Collection!

Tanesha partnered with Dia & Co.to create this ground breaking collection available exclusively through them. Dia & Co. is an online personal styling service for the plus size woman (14-32). You first take an online survey that has a series of questions about your style, personal preference, sizing, price ranges and what you're looking to add to your wardrobe. After you're done filling out the survey, a personal stylist will give you a call to get more in depth about your style. Once your stylist has all the info she needs, you will receive an email letting you know that your personally styled box is on it's way to you. Your box should contain at least 5 items of clothing. When you've had a chance to go through your box, if there's anything that doesn't work, Dia & Co provides a mailing envelope for you to send the items back for free. There is a $20 styling fee, if you decide to buy anything from your box, the fee will be credited towards your purchase. How cool is that?!

I had the pleasure of getting a sneak peek of the collection during The Curvy Con and I was a fan right from the jump. The collection just screams Tanesha from the Stripe Shirt Dress to the Tailored White Peplum top, her signature aesthetic was strewed throughout the collection. The collection is made up of 13 modern-classic designs in sizes 12 through 32. Each piece easily dresses up or down, taking you from the office to after hours. The fabrics are luxe, easily to transition from Fall to Spring, and each piece is well thought out, with pockets in almost everything from sweaters, to jackets, pants, skirts, dresses and everything is priced from $49 – $99.

The folks over at Dia & Co. were so kind to send me over a box which had 3 pieces from the GWC collection. My stylist Ashby picked out the pieces and hit the nail on the head with everything she sent. My absolute favorite piece from the collection is the Bianca Maxi Dress. This is definitely a statement piece with the gorgeous bold print, I felt like a goddess in this dress. I loved the tie bow collar feature which is totally Tanesha. To add my own style to the dress I added a belt just to break up the print a little and give me more of a waist. I was definitely ready to take on the fall in elegant style with this number.
