It seems that I've fallen into yet another obsession and that's skater skirts or dresses, I can't get enough of them! They happen to be super trendy at the moment, of any style and material, especially in leather (faux or real). So when I saw this Emerald Skater Skirt from ASOS Curve on Gwynnie Bee, I had to try it. I spoke about Gwynnie Bee on my last post, see here. I had been eyeing it on ASOS for a while but of course I waited too long and it sold out. You can imagine my excitement when I saw that Gwynnie Bee had it available. I have to say this is one of the best skater skirts I've worn, it fits like a dream, it's well made and the color is amazing, plus it comes with the belt. I was so pleased with the skirt that I immediately went to the ASOS website and ordered the black version which is on sale for $24, as well as the red and navy versions.
The top I wore went great with the skirt because it had hints of the same emerald green color of the skirt. I got this Torrid top from the lovely Meaghan of Little Lime Dress during the NY Curvy Closet plus size shopping event back in July for $5! I can't believe it took me this long to wear it, probably because I have too any things forgot I had it lol.

I'm finally coming to terms that summer is over and started to try and incorporate some fall pieces into my wardrobe, hence the denim jacket and booties. I think they went well with the ensemble, still giving it a summery look.
