FFFWEEK: All White, Don't Care!

FFFWEEK: All White, Don't Care!

Hi Lovies!

Yesterday was Day 3 of FFFWeek and I attended the "Curves at Sea" All White Cruise. For a lot of us plus size women, wearing white can be challenging, especially with the myth that wearing white makes you look bigger. Since I've been blogging and also reading many of the other inspirational plus size blogs, I've definitely learned to be more body confident and comfortable in my own skin. There shouldn't be any reason not to wear something if you like it. My motto is "if you like it, wear it!" So I welcomed the whole wearing "all white" with opened arms.

I can't tell you how much I love my ensemble! Each piece just went perfectly together, couldn't ask for anything better. Of course my favorite thing is my tutu skirt from eShakti, I already own the black version (see here) so this love affair has been going on for a while. It is the most perfect tutu ever, everything about it is just pure perfection. Then pairing it with my sequins tank top from Old Navy and my new favorite blazer from Fashion to Figure, how could I go wrong!?!

  1. I admit that I too am wary of wearing white. I think we've been conditioned to believe it's a color full figured women should stay away from. However, this is not true! I love your white outfit, especially the sassy skirt! :)

  2. La primera foto se me hizo muy carrie con su falda tutu. Te quedo bien y debo admitir que me da miedo utilizar el color blanco.
