Sexy Varsity Girl

Hi Lovies!

I first saw this sexy varsity look on the fabulous Chasity from the blog Garnerstyle. She did a celebrity style capture with a look Kim Kardashian did. I also saw this look on another fantastic blogger Margie from the blog MargiePlus, who pulled off the sexy varsity look great. Then yesterday I saw the awesome Nicolette Mason wearing almost the same outfit I put together here on her blog. I instantly fell in love with the look and definitely needed a varsity jacket in my wardrobe.

If you ask any of my friends or family, they'd tell you that I'm the ultimate girly girl. I adore being a lady and dressing like one. It's hard for me to step out of my element and dress "sporty". I don't wear t-shirts or owned a pair of sneakers until recently when I purchased a pair of trendy wedge sneakers (but I don't count those as real sneakers lol). But like most fashionistas, we like to challenge ourselves and try new things that we might not normally do. So I compromised and tried the Sexy Varsity Girl look. Chasity's and Margie's jacket came from the store Wet Seal. Not many of you know but Wet Seal carries a Jr. Plus Size line, with very trendy, youthful and inexpensive pieces. When I went to the Wet Seal site to buy the jacket, I came across this version which I liked so much better because it had faux leather sleeves as well as the word "LOVE" going down one of them. Not to mention it was on sale for the mere price of $17.45!

Unlike Nicolette's and Chasity's look, I wore a top underneath my jacket. I decided to wear my denim shirt along with my faux leather skirt for the added girly effect but kept with the sporty motif and wore my wedge sneakers. To complete the look, I added an oversize clutch along with some black and silver jewelry.
