Christmas is gone, but not forgotten

For the month of December I was a bit lazy with outfit posts, so now I'm behind. Also the weather in NYC has gotten really cold and I have not been able to take pics in my communal terrace. I was forced to take these pics in my house but since it was the holidays I decided to take them in front of my tree.

 I got this Retro Chic by Torrid Black and Polka Dot Dress for my Beau's sister's bday last year. I only got to wear it once, so I decided to wear it for the holidays since it has a bit of a Christmas-y feel to it. I think it's absolutely adorable, with the tiny polka dots and cute red bow in the middle. It's also very pin-up girl, which for me I don't think I could pull off but in this dress I did! I love the satiny feel and sexiness of the dress but still has a classy flare to it.

I wanted to keep the accessories simple and let the dress shine so I wore my Black Patent Leather System Heel also from Torrid and my BCBG Sparkly Clutch I had the honor of purchasing from Nicole Mason, one of fav Plus size bloggers (see her blog here). I accented the outfit with my Red Stone Chandelier Earrings from Forever 21 and my Braided Bracelet I got from a Shecky's event.
