Yes, you read the title of this post correctly, the Plus Size Remix is back! I feel like a total trash human for not bringing this feature to the blog every month last year like I promised but stuff happens. But now with the new year here, I hope to be able to bring it to you more frequently. So if you're new to the blog and don't know what the PSR feature is, it's a monthly feature where I take a look that inspires me and remix it into a plus size version. I totally enjoy these remixes and I get most of my inspiration from Pinterest. I love doing these looks, putting my personal touch to the it and making it my own.
This month's inspiration came from the blogger Megan of TF Diaries. I've been following her forever and just love her easy chic style. She makes dressing look so easy and with 3 boys to boot! I love how she uses a lot of the same pieces to create so many different cool looks, and can we talk about that hair color! Yasss to the red heads!!
With the PSR posts, I make it a rule to recreate these looks by shopping my closet. It gives me a chance to go through my stuff and get ideas for looks with things I already have. There's no need for me to be buying any more clothes when I have an abundance of things to choose from. The thing that stood out to me about Megan's look was her fabulous moto jacket. Moto jackets are my weakness and I have more than I can count. For this look I decided to use my new Rebel x Angels Suede Moto Jacket. Guys, I cannot tell you how amazing this moto jacket is, and it's real suede! The red color makes such a statement along with the silver hardware make for a super edgy jacket. It also comes in Green and Black.
The rest of the look was pretty simple, everyone should have a black turtleneck, black pumps, and a black tote in their wardrobe basics. The skirt I got a while back ago from Old Navy and it's one of my favorite skirts to wear. Along with the moto jacket which gave this look the pop of color it needed.
