Casual Dressing with Dress Barn

I live for those days where you don't have to put any effort into a look but still want to look cute. Who what of thought that I could find that type of clothing in Dress Barn? When I think of DB, I think of a place I would go to get clothes for work, but it has evolved into so much more. Their DB Sunday line is all about causal, comfy lounge wear pieces that are fashionable as well as functional. This Space-Dye Hoodie was one of my favorite pieces, incredible soft and comfortable. The space-dye print along with the soft peachy coral is so spring. The hood and kangaroo pouch pockets gave this top such an athleisure feel and the short sleeves made it easy to wear for this season. This has easily become one of my favorite tops to grab for the weekend.

The iconic denim skirt is a timeless piece and continues to return on the fashion scene season after season. You know I am obsessed with anything denim and have a bunch of denim dresses but surprisely I did not have a pencil skirt. Now the silhouette I normally gravitate to is a fit and flare or skater style. But their Denim Pencil Skirt from the Westport collection definitely caught my eye. Dark denim is one of my favorite washes, it gives the skirt more of a sophisticated look, while still remaining trendy. Keep the look casual as I did here with a pair of sneakers or dress it up with your go to blouse and favorite heels or boots.
