This weekend I went up to Albany to visit my dad and family for Mother's Day. I lost my Mom 2 yrs ago so naturally this day is hard for me. But I decided that it was best to celebrate my Mother's memory and be surrounded by the people I love. My mom loved flowers and without knowing, up in Albany this weekend was their annual Tulip festival. It's like the unofficial start to the summer and their version of Central Park is adorned with all types of beautiful tulips, events, music and vendors. So I couldn't be more happier to have picked this weekend to go visit. This Floral Print Shift Dress was perfect for the occasion and definitely went with the theme of the day, which was flowers. I loved the lightweight flowy fabric along with the beautiful floral print that made this such a charming dress. The deep v-neck gave it just the right amount of sexy while still remaining appropriate for work or play. Super comfortable and easy going, which is something I enjoy in clothing.
I can never get tired of the color pink, I am always trying to find a way to incorporated into my wardrobe. So to bring out the colors of the dress I paired it with my new favorite Braided Wedge Sandals from Torrid. The vibrant color is amazing, along with the comfortable wedge heel and braided faux suede design made this such a trendy pair of sandals. This was definitely a look that my Mother would be proud of.
