My Namesake

My Namesake

Hi Lovies,

A few months ago me and my blogger boo Darlene of Suits, Heels & Curves had the privilege of shooting with one of our favorite brands Modamix. This was actually our second time shooting with them, last year we were a part of their Resort Collection shoot, which was so much fun. This time was extra special because we both had dresses from this collection named after us! As you know, the Modamix team is like family to us and they continue to support us, ours blogs and the content we are bringing to our readers. I love everything they stand for and they continue to amaze me with great designs and high end quality in each collection. So for them to actually name a piece after us is truly an honor and a dream come true.

If you're a reader of my blog then you know exactly why this dress was named after me. The skater dress/fit and flare silhouette is a staple of mine. It represents everything feminine and girly which I love, not to mention the beautiful floral print that makes this such a whimsical piece. Definitely a "Sandra" dress if I ever saw one!

Besides my namesake dress, we were able to play dress up and try on some of the other pieces from the collection. I put this look together and just loved how it came out. Denim, print and a pop of neon is always the way to go in my book.

Estelle Jacket, Dara Top, Arden Skirt

Me and Darlene have known each other for 2 years or so now and it was one of the fastest friendships I've ever had. It totally felt like I'd known her for years. She is not only a fellow PS blogger but has become such a great sister/friend, someone I admire, care about and share the same interests. I'm so happy I got to share this experience with her. Her dress is a total representation of Darlene, I loved her dress just as much as mine. We are such a great team!

This still feels like a dream and I'm so humbled and blessed. I want to thank the team at Modamix for giving us this opportunity and for the continue support. You guys rock!! Make sure to head over to Lord & Taylor to purchase our namesake dress and more from Modamix!

Thanks for reading!
