Happy Monday Lovies!
It's that time again where I bring you another edition of my "Plus Size Remix". This months inspiration comes from the super cute and fashionable Annie of Stylish Petite. I can't get enough of her style, she's the epitome of feminine and girly with a side of whimsy. She can go from all out fancy/formal to simple/casual all while looking polished and fabulous. She's another one you'll find in abundance on my Pinterest Style Inspiration board. This look was one of the first ones I ever pinned and have been wanting to recreate it for the longest time. I live for my simple but chic looks and this is totally one of them.

By now you guys know my rule of thumb with my remixes, I never buy anything new for these looks, I shop my closet instead. Next to moto jackets, capes are my second favorite type of outerwear and I loved how she styled hers. The cape I chose, I've literally had for like 3yrs and I adore it. It's no longer available but here's a similar one. Last winter I went crazy buying all different kinds of turtlenecks and snagged this striped one that looked just like Annie's. This short sleeve version from Forever21 is great for the spring. Now everyone should have a great pair of skinny jeans in their wardrobe. It took me a while to find the perfect pair until I tried these from Fashion to Figure (to read more on these jeans, see post here). The casualness of the jeans definitely balanced out the look. Now the hat was tricky because I don't do hats, especially with these crazy curls of mine. Thank goodness I was able to borrow one from my boo Darlene which I actually liked. With the hat, mix of patterns with my bag and the pop of color in my shoes, my look was complete!
I am in love with this month's Plus Size Remix! If there any inspirational looks that you'd like to see me recreate, let me know in the comments below. I'd love to take on the challenge! Check out my pinterest board with all my previous remixes here.
