Karina Dresses

Hi lovies!

A few weeks ago I was contacted by the folks of Karina Dresses to review one of their dresses. I am always down to check out a brand/company that carries both straight and plus sizes. While perusing the site, the first thing that caught my eye was that their dresses are American handmade and crafted with limited edition fabric in Brooklyn, NY. Gotta love a brand who makes their product right here in my home of NYC. As I continued to look through the site, I was totally impressed with what I saw, the dresses had a vintage look about them but still fashion forward. The prints were very eye catching and fun. I also loved that each dress had a name, which totally gave them a whimsical flare. All the dresses are made of this amazing material that feels great on the body, super forgiving and best of all wrinkle free! Yup, you heard me right, wrinkle free. Who doesn't like a dress that you can just throw on and literally walk out the door. That's an A+ in my book.

The dress I received is call the Nora in the print Neutral Iris. The floral print was so pretty and perfect for the Fall along with the faux wrap dress design which is so flattering and sexy on any body shape. To my surprise, after I put it on, I realized the dress had pockets! It was like Christmas came early, y'all know how much I love a dress or skirt with pockets. The sizes go from XS (0-4) to XXL (22/24). I'm wearing the XXL and it fit more like an 18/20, so make sure you refer to the size chart before ordering. This dress can definitely be worn in the colder months with tights and knee high boots. I can even see myself wearing it to work with a cute structured blazer or on date night with a faux leather moto jacket for an edgier look.

For this look I kept it simple with black heels and a fringed tote. I wanted the dress to be the focus and not over do it with accessories. The dress definitely speaks for itself.
