In Living Color

Hi Lovies!

I've realized that whenever I wear something colorful and fun, it puts me in a good mood. There's just something about it that easily puts a pep in my step. I will admit that in the past my wardrobe was never this colorful. I was that girl who only wore earth tones, black and whites, because I was afraid of how bold colors would look on me. Well obviously that has changed and now my closet is literally a rainbow of colors, I can't get enough of it. When I did the look book for Modamix (see here), they gave me all the pieces from their Boho Chic line. Some didn't make the lookbook but I have definitely been putting those pieces to use, like this beautiful Tapestry Dress with Zipper Detail. Just like the skirt I wore in the look book, this dress was just as fabulous. The colors and details were absolutely amazing, so bold and bright. This dress totally makes a statement, and caught quite a few eyes as I strutted my stuff around the city. Since I try to take my fashion to the next level, I decided to wear this dress backwards. The front has a zipper coming down the middle (see stock picture at the bottom of post) but I thought for the look I was doing, the other side was better. It's like having 2 dresses for the price of one!

To continue taking this colorful look to the max and also making it work friendly, I added my fav yellow blazer from Charlotte Russe Plus. This blazer sold out so quickly on their website and I was lucky enough to get one before they were gone. They should totally bring this back because they were so many women that missed out. It paired so nicely with the dress and didn't over saturate the look. I never realized how hard it is to find a nice plus size yellow blazer, definitely holding on to this one.

How cute are these Natalie Wedge Sandals from fullbeauty?! They are from the Comfortview line and are just beyond comfortable. They have tons of great shoes and if you have wide feet like I do, most of them go up to WW and size 12. The color went perfect with the outfit and for an added pop of color I wore my pink tote to complete the look.
