Winter Layered

Winter Layered

Hi Lovies!

It's hard to believe that this Christmas was in the 50's, totally felt like the beginning of Fall not full on Winter. Friday was such a beautiful sunny day I took the opportunity to meet up with my boo Georgette, who was in town spending the holidays with her fam, and had lunch. Now you can never be too safe when it comes to NYC weather so it's always good to dress in layers so you can add or remove according to the temps.

Coat - Steve Madden (Comes in black or camel) via Modcloth//Jacket - Ashley Stewart//Top - Old Navy//Skirt - Eloquii//Belt (old) - ASOS Curve//Boots - DSW//Bag - Forever 21//Necklace (similar) - H&M
I was still in the Christmas spirit and knew I wanted to wear something red, so since I was meeting Georgette I of course had to wear her name sake midi skirt from Eloquii. This has easily become my new favorite skirt. The color is so rich and vibrant, not to mention the awesome perforated scuba material that's so comfortable and moves so well on the body. I am definitely getting it in another color. This skirt does run a bit big so I would suggest sizing down.

I really did take advantage of the black Friday sales and totally scored this coat from Modcloth and this jacket from Ashley Stewart. I have been stalking them both for a while and finally bought them when the price was right. Since I got this coat I have not worn any other, it's just perfection and the fur collar makes it so chic looking. The plaid jacket is super cute and a really great addition to my wardrobe, I can see me wearing it a lot this winter.

I went with simple black boots and handbag to finish off the look along with gold accessories.

How are you layering for the Winter?
