Satin and Sequins

Hi Lovies,

For most folks NYE is a day to get super dressed up in something sparkly, glittery and eye catching. As much as I enjoy getting dressed up, I usually spend that day inside with family and friends. So I don't go crazy looking for that perfect NYE dress that I'll only wear once. I rather find something simple that I can wear again but still has a NYE flair to it. So when I saw this sweater at H&M, I knew it would be perfect for bringing in the new year. Do note that his sweater is from their straight sizes but runs big. I initially purchased an XL and it was way to big to go with a skirt so I ended up get anther one in medium and it fit perfect!

I knew I wanted to wear a skirt with this sweater and had the perfect one in mind. During my black Friday rampage,  I of course stopped at Eloquii and I got this gorgeous Satin Midi Skirt. It just screamed elegance and gave the outfit the hint of festiviness it needed. 

Since the sweater had a lot going on, I wanted to keep the accessories simple. I've had this jeweled collar from H&M for like ever and never wear it. When I tried it on, I couldn't believe how perfect it went with the sweater, it totally looked like part of it. And these shoes from Lane Bryant have totally been my go to shoes this holiday season, talk about a party on your feet! LOL!
