Citrón in the City

Citrón in the City

Hey Lovies!

You ever seen a piece a clothing, whether it be online or in a store, and immediately say "I have to have it!" Well that's how I felt when I saw this Citron Laser Cut Midi from Eloquii. I immediately expressed my love for the skirt via social media and not to my surprise, some of my fellow blogger boos felt the same way. So with that, Thamarr from Musings of a Curvy Lady, came up with the awesome idea to have a blogger challenge with the skirt! Myself, Thamarr, Georgette from Grown and Curvy Woman, and Joi from In My Joi all decided to participate to see how each of us styled this fab skirt. I knew I was up against some power houses with this challenge but stayed true to my style and went with a cute but polished look with some contrast of colors.

The skirt is such an amazing rich color that just makes you happy. I love the gentle pleating and I can't say enough about the laser cut design that makes this skirt just so charming. It's made of scuba material so it's very comfortable and fits well. This skirt also comes in pink, black and red.

Since the skirt was such a bold color I knew I wanted to wear a top that was mellow, so I went with a chambray denim top and added some color contrast with a striped blazer. Added a statement necklace and cobalt blue heels to complete the look.
