Midi in the Park

Midi in the Park

Hi Lovies!

Back in August Eloquii contacted me about sending me special gift of any item from their website. I was beyond excited about this especially having been to their FFFweek event back in June and got a preview of their upcoming fashions (see post here). The hardest part was picking out which piece I wanted since there were so many great things to choose from. I'm normally not a huge fan of midi skirts because I like to show a little more leg but when they came out with the Studio Midi Skirt in Citron, I have to say I was instantly a fan. My mind was buzzing with different outfit combos that I could create with it! As much as I loved the yellow version, I decided to go with the green color because I knew it could easily be transition it into my Fall wardrobe.

When I received the skirt I was immediately impressed with the quality of it. It was made of a nice heavy cotton twill that was expertly constructed. I loved the crisp feel of it and the pleating gave it such a sophisticated look. The fit was amazing, I got this skirt in a size 18 and it is definitely true to size. The wide waist band and the elastic in the back made it so comfortable, there was no rolling of the waist band when I sat down. I also adored how vibrant the green color was and how it popped. I don't have a lot of this color in my wardrobe so this is a great addition. I do have to say that skirt is a bit long, I'm 5'6 and without heels it was long, so keep that in mind when ordering. Read the measurements and size chart for a more accurate fit.

When Fashion to Figure was having their huge sale back in August, I was able to snag this adorable Animal Print Crop for pratically nothing! It's definitely one of my fav crop tops right now, not only because of the leopard print but the sweetheart neckline is so charming. It does run a little big, this is a 2X but I could have easily done a 1X. I thought it went great wit the skirt and was very please with the look.

I'm definitely sad that the summer is ending but looking forward to what the Fall fashions have in store for us! What are some of your favorite looks for the Fall?

 Until next time lovies!

  2. Such smart styling! I absolutely love the green with the leopard. So unexpected, and like you said, perfect for transitioning into fall. I ALMOST ordered a midi skirt from Eloquii in July but lost my impulse control when I saw a powder blue lace midi from ASOS and went for that instead. I'm seeing Eloquii's items on so many bloggers, and they're just gorgeous. I'm loving green for fall, and this skirt seems so versatile. I'd love to recreate this whole look!
