Hard to believe we are in August already and nearing the end of the summer :(. Summer has always been my favorite season, despite how hot it gets here in NYC. But that time between the end of the Summer and the beginning of Fall is my sweet spot. It definitely starts to put me in the mood for Fall fashion. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not ready to give up my sun dresses and shorts just yet, but my mind is already thinking about transitional pieces I can add to my wardrobe. Here in NYC we don't really get full on Fall weather till late September, early October. So in between that time I like to make sure I get pieces that I can wear now while it's still warm and easily transition into the cooler weather. I was so drawn to the beautiful leaf print and neutral colors. Not to mention how lightweight and flowy it was. I also loved how much I can do with it. Besides wearing it as is, over their Timeless Cutout Tunic Tank and uber comfortable Grey Twill Jeggings, I could wear it belted with a nice chunky belt for a dressier pulled together look. Or I could tie the front in a knot for a fun and casual vibe. What's even better is every piece from this look will easily transition into Fall with out a problem. You guys already know how much I love items that can work double duty. I can use each piece individually as well with other items in my closet and get the most out of them.
