Work Sassy

Work Sassy

Hi Lovies,

When it comes to my work attire, I don't have to put too much thought into it. The dress code at work is pretty lax being its a fashion company. But during market week when our accounts come in to see the new lines, I do like to step my game up. Now I'm not going to be wearing a power suit or anything like that but I'll definitely put together a look that it work appropriate, while still showing my personal style. I decided I wanted to go with a bold look and of course I had to reach for something leopard. This Etta Animal Print Blazer from Fashion to Figure was such a take charge piece. I loved the ruffled front that gave off a peplum feel. This blazer can go from the executive office to dinner and drinks after work. You will for sure be making at statement at the office with this blazer.

I am all about earth tones, I think they fair well with my skin tone and hair color. Yellow and brown has always been one of my favorite combos. So paring this top from Modamix and skirt from Charlotte Russe was like a match made in heaven. I normally don't wear pencil type skirts because I'm not that curvy but I have to say this one looked great on. The faux suede was right on trend and the split in the back added some sass to it. If and when I do wear a pencil skirt, I always reach for a peplum top. For my shape, they are perfect to give me the illusion of curves and the pretty yellow color went so well with the leopard print. Just call me work sassy!
