Eshakti to me!

Hi Lovies!

I can't stress enough how much I love the site eShakti, I want every dress they have on the site! If you've never heard of them, they're a company that offers clothing from sizes 0-36 (which is awesome for us bigger gals!), and they even offer customization; you can change different elements about the clothing, or send in your measurements for a truly custom fit. When you first register for their site, they will send you a $25 off coupon for your first purchase. I was so excited and couldn't wait to use it. But then came the dilemma of what to pick! As much as I love color and prints, I figured I'd go with some thing simple that I can get more wear out of. So I went with the Retro Chambray Shirtdress (no surprise!).

When I saw this dress, I immediately fell in love with it. I loved the pleating as well as gold buttons on the front and sleeves. It also has smocking in the back which gives you a little extra space and made the dress even more comfortable to wear. I also have a gorgeous Tutu Skirt from them as well that I adore so much I want to marry it! lol!(see post here) Like most of their dresses and skirts, this gem has pockets, which is an ultimate plus for me! If you buy this dress as is without any customization, it will come at the "below the knee" length. You have the option to change the sleeve type and length of the dress. I opted to keep the original sleeve because it just made the dress that more retro looking and just change the length to "above the knee". I prefer shorter lengths on my dresses, just think they look better on me, especially since I don't wear heels often.

I kept my accessories simple because I wanted the dress to shine. Went with a green theme with my accessories and added a splash of print with my leopard print clutch.
